Like many people, I work multiple jobs and have different interests. My 9-5 is strictly for creating content and messaging about social justice issues related to the criminal, legal, and immigration enforcement systems.

My job sometimes requires me to design content-based social impacts that have negatively disrupted our community. Sometimes, I become overwhelmed with the work and find myself deep in it when trying to be creatively free.

I created Design and Racial Equity to foster my creativity and share what I'm learning or investing my talents in with the community.

My main focus is creating design work that applies to racial equity, so I thought, what better way to connect with the " communications and marketing" community in the Slack group?
